Max Niedner, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021, at the age of 73. Cherished son of the late Robert and Margaret Niedner; devoted father of Jackie Margaret (Tim) Pundmann and Lindi (Tyler) Schaeffer; loving grandfather of Jace Pundmann, Braxton Schaeffer, Ryann Pundmann and Alice Schaeffer; dear brother of Susan (Maurice) Goldhammer and Sharon Hayes; Max is also survived by dear friend and companion, Joi Niedner.
Max was the proud owner of Emmons Title Company until he retired in 2014. He won a lifetime achievement award through the Missouri Land Title Association for his work efforts in the title industry.
Max had a passion for golf. After retiring, you could often find him on the course. He won multiple tournaments as well as scored a hole in one with a 7 iron on the 4
th hole of Bogey Country Club where he was the 38
th member.
When not on the golf course, Max was a skilled carpenter. He enjoyed building furniture and fixing things for his family. He enjoyed spending time outdoors at his farm in Foristell and then later in life at his property in Warrenton. He loved riding ATVs, hiking the creeks and chopping down trees. Max also found happiness fly and bass fishing. In all situations he’d come with a Diet Coke in hand.
He was a loving father, grandfather “Gramps”, companion and brother. Max was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
