Maxine Bates

Bates, Maxine of O Fallon, MO, died on Friday July 24, 2015, at the age of 91. Loving wife of Marmie Bates; beloved daughter of the late Richard and the late Elise Young; devoted mother of Sharon (Ken) Busselman and Sandi Williams; cherished grandmother of Steve (Linda) Busselman, Trish (Pat) Tygett, Scott (Michelle) Williams, and Melissa (Dennis) Muskopf; treasured great-grandmother of Joey, Payton, Jeremy, Scottie, Alycea, Nason and the late Sarah Louise; devoted great-great-grandmother of Hunter Scott Williams; dear sister of Paul Young, Sr., the late Richard Young, the late Jewel Clark, and the late Joann Farrar.
Maxine truly loved spending time with her family, and dancing, especially with her husband. She also enjoyed fishing and sewing, and was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in O'Fallon.
