McLain, S. "Opal", of Bryant, Arkansas, died on Monday, October 27, 2008, at the age of 88. Dearest wife of the late Newell "Bill" F. McLain; dear daughter of the late James A. and the late Martha Edwards; loving mother of Billy (Cathy) McLain; cherished grandmother of Julie (Andrew) Dorsey and Lori (Jeff) Guelker. She is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Orin Edwards, Dwight Edwards, Marie Bradwell, Harry A. Edwards, Joyce Edwards and Clinton Edwards. Memorials may be made to the Mission Committee or Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant, AR.
