Mel Oetting

Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church Building Fund at any Baue Funeral Home location. Mel Oetting was born on December 25, 2002 in St. Charles Missouri to Henry and Meta Oetting. His loving parents preceded him in death. Mr. Oetting was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Harvester Missouri. He was a retired real estate agent and school bus driver for the Francis Howell School District. Mr. Oetting is survived by his daughter, Bonita ''Bonnie'' Petrie (Bob) of St. Charles Missouri, his grandchildren, Vicky Ohlms (Ed) of St. Charles Missouri, Kim Simone of Watertown New York, and Kendall Petrie (Nancy) of Topeka Kansas, and his great grandchildren, John Ohlms, Jacob Ohlms, Julie Ohlms, Gerard Simone, Gina Simone, Nicole Petrie, and Nathan Petrie. He was preceded in death by his wife Lavelle E. Oetting.
