Melanie Emerald Quinton, of Dixon, formerly of St. Charles, was born on May 5, 1995, in St. Charles, a daughter of Richard Brian and Rhonda Jo Ingram, and departed this life at 9:50 p.m., on Monday, November 2, 2020, at her residence. She passed at the age of 25 years, 5 months, and 27 days.
Melanie attended Timberland High School, Wentzville, and was currently studying to be a Certified Nursing Assistant. As her photo reflects, she was a beautiful person, who was all about fashion and glamour. Melanie thoroughly enjoyed music, singing, crafting, sewing, video games, mini-bikes, dirt bikes and reading her Bible. At the time of her passing, Melanie was employed at the Maries Manor Care and Rehabilitation Center, Vienna, as a Nurses’ Aide.
Those left to mourn the passing of Melanie include: Her mother, Rhonda Ingram, of Dixon; three sisters, Daphne Quinton-Schreck of Dixon, Nichoel Schreck, of Dixon and Kelly Quinton of the state of South Carolina; one brother-in-law, Sean Schreck, of Dixon; one niece, Lillith Schreck, of Dixon; three nephew, Shawn Schreck, of Dixon, Tegan Schreck, of Dixon, and Axel Hyde, of Minnesota; maternal grandfather, Silver Ingram, of Chase, Kansas; paternal grandfather, Richard Quinton, of St. Peters; paternal grandmother, Barbara Veda, of the state of Maryland; five aunts, Lisa Kulp, Diane Brennan, Debbie Fkar, Kim Evans, Vickie Ingram, Brenda Fogharty, and Kay Tucker; two great-aunts Joanie Martin and Kay Tucker; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Brian Quinton, on May 15, 2011, maternal grandmother, Marsha Ingram and her aunt Patty Davis.
Memorials may be made to her mother, Rhonda Ingram.
