Melba English

Melba English (nee Mullins), of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at the age of 97.  Beloved daughter of the late William Herman and Bertha Mullins; devoted mother of Melva English and the late Larry English; cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother of many; dear mother-in-law of Bonnie English. Melba was preceded in death by her three sisters.

Melba was a devoted nurse and retired after more than 30 years.  She was always very independent, spirited, feisty, and had a spicy attitude.  She loved going out and having fun, and going dancing, dating and marrying.  She lived life to its fullest and loved to be the center of attention.  Melba dressed to the “nines” and liked to catch everyone's eye.  She collected antiques, and liked decorating.  She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
