Melba L. Norton

Norton, Melba L., (nee: Noah) of St. Charles, MO, died on Thursday, April 16, 2015, at the age of 85. Loving wife of the late Marvin L. Norton; daughter of the late Daniel and Leona Noah, Sr.; mother of Dennis (Audrey) Norton, Ronald (Linda) Norton, and Judy (Kyle) Carter; grandmother of 12; great-grandmother of many; sister of Shirley Lewis and Daniel (Dottie) Noah, Jr.; and sister-in-law of Birdie Noah and Pat Noah. Melba is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her son Terry Norton and her brothers Fred Noah, Gary Noah, and Donald Noah.
Melba was born and raised in St. Charles, MO, and was a lifelong member of First Assembly of God. She worked for McDonnell Douglas, where she was a seamstress and helped in many other areas, for over 32 years. She loved working in her yard, decorating her home for Christmas, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. Most of all, she loved spending time and making memories with her family and friends. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
