Melinda Alane Madsen of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 38 on Saturday, August 22, 2020. She was preceded in death by her brother, Stuart Madsen; and her grandparents, Elmer and Lillian Busick and Louis and Josephine Madsen.
Melinda is survived by her parents, Carl and Beverly Madsen; her brother, Kevin (Jessica) Madsen; her niece, Kenzie Rose Madsen; her aunts and uncles, Ray (Sandy) Madsen, Elmer (Nettie) Busick, Josh (Mary) Busick, Clare (Joe) Marcoe, Jeff (Shirley) Busick, and Melodie (Dave) Hutson; and her many cousins.
Melinda was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church Harvester and attended elementary school there. She attended high school at Francis Howell North and graduated from Boerne High School in Boerne, Texas in 2000.
Melinda was a confident, independent, fun-loving individual who enjoyed life to the fullest. She was blessed with a wonderful flair for design and enjoyed photography as a hobby. Family was important to Melinda and she took great pleasure in spending time with her niece. From a very young age, she played fast pitch softball and went on to pitch in college. Her love for sports extended to being a passionate fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers.
She tutored statistics at Northeastern State University where she graduated
magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Melinda will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
