Melvin "Jerry" Bickel

Melvin Gerald “Jerry” Bickel, of Troy, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Jennifer Raeker Bickel; devoted son of the late Melvin and Birdie Bickel; loving father of Katherine Randolph, Marty Randolph, and Matthew Bickel; cherished grandfather of Rhys Randolph and Colin Randolph. 

Jerry grew up in the Florissant area. He worked at Troy Motors and later Marquiz Motors for several years. He started Jerry Bickel Race Cars over 40 years ago. He loved to save animals, fly helicopters and boating. 

Jerry was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jerry’s name to PALS Animal Shelter, 4287 Highway 47, Hawk Point, Missouri 63349.
