Meredith Francis Boschert

Boschert, Meredith Francis Boschert of West Alton, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 surrounded by family at Christian Hospital in St. Louis, at the age of 83. Among his survivors are: his beloved wife of 46 years, Margaret “Diane” Summers Boschert of St. Charles; cherished son, Meredith Bryan (Monica) Boschert, and daughters, Melody (Scott) Kessler, Rebecca (Mark) Shimer, and Susan (John) Scaturro Boschert; as well as ten loving grandchildren and five treasured great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Walter Boschert, mother, Florence Laura Bextermueller Boschert, and sister, Grace (John) Heckmann.

Mr. Boschert was a lifelong Farmer, better known in the community as “8-Ball”. He enjoyed many years as a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Alton, IL. He served his community as a volunteer fire fighter, and his country in the United States Army.
