Merlin A. Pelster

Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church in care of Charities. Pelster, Merlin "Merl", of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Saturday, October 10, 2009, at the age of 73. Devoted husband of the late Carol J. Pelster; dear son of the late Alvin and the late Olga Ann Pelster; loving father of Sandy (Jay) Fritz, Rick (Peggy) Pelster, Shelley (Randy) Saale, Kim Pelster, and Greg (Tiffany) Pelster; treasured grandfather of Katie, Kayliegh, Jackie, Sammy, Justin, Niki, Taylor, and Ava; cherished great-grandfather of Brayden. He is preceded in death by his son, Robert "Bobby" Wayne Pelster. After Merl retired from Borden's as a Sales Representative, he was a Teacher's Aide for the St. Louis Special School District. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Charles where he participated in Social Ministries, the Men's Club, and started the Nehemia's.
