Micah James Nuss

Tuesday early morning on May 31, 2022, fourteen-week-old Micah James passed away in the comfort of his home in his sleep.

Micah was born on February 20, 2022, at 12:39 am weighing in at 7 lbs. 15 oz. and 20 inches long; he had grown to be 13 lbs. 8 oz. and 27 inches long. He resided in St. Peters, Missouri.

Micah’s name means, “Who is of God?”  From the moment Micah was placed in his mother’s womb, God had his hand on Micah encouraging his mother and father to come back to church. When his mother found out she was pregnant, God encouraged her to have him. Micah’s bigger purpose is divine and not of this earth, but the time he was here sent ripples around the world. Micah and his parents have already inspired others to bring new babies into this world. The light Micah gave to those he touched is everlasting, because he was a gift from Heaven. The instantaneous love his parents were gifted profoundly changed their lives. Micah came and left this world pure and perfect, just as he was created.

Micah was preceded in his death two weeks prior by his great grandfather, Alva Yelton. Micah is survived by his mother and father, Rileigh Nuss and Shawn Heady. Micah touched the lives of many, as they will all mourn him; grandparents, Tracea and Bryce Nuss, grandparents, Rebecca and Dennis Heady; three aunts, two uncles, eight first cousins, and many other family members and friends.

There will be a memorial service held on June 25, 2022 at O’Fallon Christian church at 4:30pm. Those who are touched by the everlasting light Micah has because of Jesus Christ, may attend and are encouraged to wear white to symbolize the purity of his life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for grief and memorial support in honor of Micah.

Baue Funeral Homes is currently following CDC recommendations regarding mask and social distancing policies.
