Michael Damer Coppinger

Michael Damer Coppinger, of O'Fallon, Missouri, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Friday, February 22, 2013 at the age of 87. Loving husband for 65 years of Mildred Coppinger (nee: Loeffelman); dear son of the late Damer Coppinger and Mabel Weber; devoted father of Donna ( Bill) Ryan, Karen (Curt) Chaudoin, Gary Coppinger, Joe Coppinger, and Kathy Travers; cherished grandfather of 15 and great-grand-father of 14. He is preceded in death by his son Michael Coppinger and sister Alverna Beiter. Michael was a devoted husband and father. He was a faithful member of the Catholic Church. He proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Navy as a Sea Bee in the 90th Construction Battalion. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors Project, P.O.
