Michael Dean Thompson, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Beth Thompson; cherished son of the late Pearl and Dora Thompson; son-in-law of the late William and Shirley Hutchins; devoted father of Samuel Dean (Marie) Thompson and Daniel Joseph Thompson; loving grandfather of Abel Wyatt Thompson; dear brother of Glenda (The Late Kirby) Fowler, Gary (Marsha) Thompson, Carol (Kenny) Simmons and Gerald Thompson; brother-in-law of Christine Lynn Bryant.
Mike was a true country boy. He met his wife in 1987 during the World Series while cheering on the Cardinals. Mike was a hard-working construction worker who was good with his hands. Mike loved classic cars and built 3 1966 Chevelles from the ground up, as well as restoring old John Deere tractors. He passed along his knowledge to his two sons. Most of all he was an amazing grandpa who loved his family dearly. Mike was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials can be left in Mike’s name to Lucky K9 Rescue.
