Michael L Provin, of Columbia, Mo, passed away Monday, January 28, 2019 at the age of 63. Beloved son of Lois, and the late Jack Provin; Father of Christopher Provin, Matthew (Heidi) Provin, and Anna Provin; devoted grandfather to Roper Provin and Sofia White, brother of Moni (Larry) Lentz, Michelle Provin, and Marty (Nancy) Provin; cherished uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Michael was born in Bethany, Missouri, and spent his childhood living in Columbia. He graduated from David H. Hickman High School, and attended Central Missouri State University where he was an active member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations and worked for many years in the fields of Marketing and Sales. Following his retirement, Michael found new joy in substitute teaching.
Michael enjoyed watching sports, playing golf, and listening to music, but his greatest joys in life were the times spent with his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held February 9th at Orr Street Studios at 2 pm in Columbia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s honor to the Michael Provin Education Fund ℅ Martin Provin, 8123 Knights Crossing Ct. O’Fallon, MO 63368
