Michael "Mike" Joseph Lyons

Michael "Mike" Joseph Lyons, of Maryland Heights, MO, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024, at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Alice Marie Lyons; cherished son of the late John and Lillian K. Lyons; devoted father of Craig M. (Beth) Lyons, Krisann M. (Kevin) Turnbough, and Michael M. (Sarah Kubiak) Lyons; loving grandfather of Amber (Andrew Byrne) Lyons, Casie (Tyler) Hamilton, Jacob (Danielle Blaho) Lyons, Messina (Brennen) Thies, Kailah Kubiak, and Marek Kubiak; treasured great grandfather of Karson Byrne, Kensley Byrne, Colbie Hamilton, and Lilah Hamilton; loving uncle, cousin, and friend. Michael was preceded in death by his dear brothers, John "Jack" (Carolyn) Lyons and Patrick "Russell" (the late Patricia) Lyons.

Michael and Alice were married for 61 years, sharing a lifetime of love and memories. A skilled handyman, Michael enjoyed working on cars and tending to his yard, always finding joy in keeping things in order. He was a wonderful grandfather who cherished time with his family and brought warmth to everyone around him. Michael was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Michael's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
