Michael David Moore Sr.

Michael David Moore Sr., of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Mary Frances Moore; cherished son of the late Claude L. and Virginia J. Moore; devoted father of Michael Moore, Jr., Bonnie (Josh) Boeck, and the late Tina (Shannon) Mantia; loving grandfather of Damien Mantia, Kurstin (Daniel) Reinhardt, Cody (Karlie) Grover, Haylie Boeck, Audrey Boeck, and the late Corey Mantia; treasured great grandfather of Layla Grover and the late Parker Mantia; dear brother of Terry, Gerry, the late Joyce, and the late Virginia.

Michael and Mary were married for 55 years, a journey that began with a spark during an evening at the movies. He cherished fishing trips with his son and family vacations to Lost Valley Lake, often participating in fish derbies with his grandchildren. Despite being born on Christmas; his family affectionately called him "Scrooge" because when his family would sing him happy birthday, he would respond with “Ba-hum-bug". His grandchildren brought immense joy to his life, always managing to brighten his day and bring a smile to his face. Michael worked for Ford for over 30 years and took great pride in his time there. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Michael's name to the American Cancer Society.
