Michael Mustuk

Michael “Mike” Dennis Mustuk, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at the age of 71. He was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Mary Ann Mustuk of Peoria, IL. He leaves behind his sister, Chris Karstens,and his niece, Kelly Karstens, both of Mechanicsville, VA. He also leaves behind his very close friends of many years, Rhonda Hayden Kattelman and Winde Summerlin, many other friends he made throughout his life and countless cousins in many different states. 

Mike was a Civil War buff, loved music, especially The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, and was an avid NASCAR fan. He particularly liked NASCAR’s Ryan Blaney and also got to enjoy the Richard Petty driving experience. Mike attended many air shows, loved movies and the Seinfeld series. He traveled extensively during his life pursuing those passions. He worked predominantly in the insurance industry, both in Peoria, IL and later in Missouri near St. Louis. He loved working at Kemper Insurance Co., attending a reunion of coworkers in Sept. of 2023, and retiring from Mercy Hospitals in January 2022. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Memorials may be made in Mike's name to The Alzheimer’s Association and to the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA).
