Michael Scoles

Michael Richard Scoles, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Carolyn Scoles; cherished son of the late Richard and Angelina Scoles. Devoted father of Andrew Scoles, Christopher Scoles, David (Hannah) Scoles, and Jessica (Charles) Wagstaff; loving grandfather of Kennedy Scoles, Gregory Scoles, Alexandrea Scoles, Nolan Scoles, Lucas Scoles, and Henry Scoles; dear brother of Patrick Scoles, Janice (Steph Baker) McCord, Karen Scoles, Kevin (Alisha) Scoles and the late Jeffery (Claire) Scoles; nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Michael proudly served as a medic in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. For 20 years, he was an active member of American Legion Post 312 in St. Charles, MO, where he played a significant role in their baseball programs. Known for his friendliness and kindness, Michael had a remarkable ability to make friends wherever he went. His passions included sports—coaching many children over the years, golfing with his sons and friends, and supporting the Cardinals baseball team and Blues hockey. Michael was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
