Michael E. Turpin

Michael E. Turpin, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the age of 68. Beloved husband of the late Sharon Kay Turpin; cherished son of Patricia (Del) Turpin-Buchanan, and the late Clarence Turpin, Jr.; devoted father of Shelly Parks, and Bradley Turpin; dear brother of Cathy Turpin, Richard Turpin, David (Sandra) Turpin, and Tim (Kim) Turpin; precious nephew of Joan Robuck; grandfather, loving uncle to several nieces and nephews and cousin to many. 

Mike was a teacher at Francis Howell High School for 24 years. He graduated from David Lipscomb College in Nashville TN, later went to get his Master of Education from the University of MO and was awarded Teacher of the Year in 2015. He was a minister at Wentzville Church of Christ for 19 years and preached at other small congregations throughout his life. His late wife Sharon was the love of his life. Mike had a great interest in locomotive freight trains and took joy in the simple things of life. Mike was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
