Michael Wayne “Mikey T” Thompson

Michael Wayne Thompson “Mikey T,” of Charles, MO, Passed on April 28, 2017, at the age of 40. Beloved son of the late Vallory Wayne and the late Shelley Elizabeth Lecrone and stepfather Melvin Stanley Lecrone; devoted father of Ayden Joseph Thompson, Colin Anthony Richmond, Austin Tyler Richmond, and Keegan James Richmond; dear brother of Catina Thompson. Michael was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.




He was always at ones’ beacon call

Never wanting anything in return,

You could count on Mikey T

That’s something we all could learn.

To give of ourselves throughout our lives,

Be humble and giving until we say our goodbyes.

He was always funny, helpful and kind

At any given moment, he’d be at your side.

He’d help you through your troubles and woes

He gave of himself, that’s how far he’d go.

He set the bar high of what a friend should be

We can only strive to be like he.

Today we “Thank you” Mikey T., a man we all loved,

For now, he is helping others up above.




Mikey T may be gone

But he did not die,

He will live forever in the song,

“I believe I can fly”
