Mike K. Brokaw

June 10, 1947 — April 7, 2023

Lake St. Louis, Missouri

Mike K. Brokaw, of Lake Saint Louis, MO, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Patti Brokaw; cherished son of the late Herb and Aletha Brokaw; proud father of Michelle (Kevin) Reine, Keith Brokaw and Heather (Mike) Hamilton; loving grandfather of Nicholas Reine, Blake Reine, Ethan Reine, Michael Brokaw, Reagan Hamilton and Max Hamilton; dear brother-in-law of JoAnn Reagan and dear brother to 4 siblings, Ricky Brokaw, Greg Brokaw, Debi Clark and the late Danny Brokaw. Mike also leaves behind grand-pups Happy, Austin and Birdie.

Mike proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He dedicated his career to the heating and cooling industry for more than 40 years as the owner and operator of Kappa Heating and Air Conditioning. Many of his clients became lifelong friends as he created a genuine and trustworthy relationship with his clients.

Mike was a muscle car enthusiast. He was a lifetime and founding member of the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The Chevy Nova and Corvette were his favorites. He attended car shows as often as he could, even bringing his family along with him.

His family was his world, especially his six grandchildren. He and his wife Patti, married since 1977, built a beautiful life together and shared years of memories with their loving family. Mike was always kind and gentle, he never met a stranger and was always eager to help anyone in need. He was loving and caring; if you knew him, you loved him, and he loved you back.

Memorials may be made in Mike's name to Humane Society or American Heart or American Cancer Society.
