Mike Journey

Mike Journey, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024, at the age of 69. Beloved son of the late Betty Journey; devoted father of Nathan (Melissa) Journey, Nichole (Gregory) Jaromack, and Rachel (David) Reck; cherished grandfather of Jeffrey, Allen, Adeline, Elias, Olliver, and Henry; dear brother of Deborah Mason; cherished cousin of Michael Worrell. 

Mike had a passion for collecting coins, stamps, knives, and baseball memorabilia. He adored animals, music, and babies, and had a special love for his old vinyl records. In his younger days, he expressed his creativity as a watercolor painter. One of his greatest passions was coffee, and he was meticulous about brewing it just the way he liked, using his percolator, drip machine, and various gadgets. 

A true people person, Mike was known for his humor, his vibrant personality, and his ever-present smile. He lit up family gatherings and cherished spending time with loved ones. As a role model and an inspiration, he held a special place in the hearts of everyone who knew him. Mike was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.

Memorials may be made in Mike's name to Five Acres Animal Shelter.
