Mildred R. Rood

Mildred Orf Rood was born June 17, 1926 in Moberly, MO to Urban A. and Hedwig Dickherber Orf and passed away March 22, 2015. Her family moved to St. Charles when she was in the 6^th grade. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Maurice and James Orf, her sister Anna Marie Goellner, and her son Kevin Rood. She is survived by her husband Delbert C. Rood, Jr., her brother Charles Orf, her children Michael Rood and wife Linda, Greg Rood and wife Lana, Rita Monat and husband Robert, Mark Rood and wife Michelle, Dane Rood and wife Lori, Carla Gazall, Jeff Rood, Eric Rood and wife Tammy, grandchildren Travis Rood, Megan Frankenberg, Jason Rood, Nathanial Rood, Kyle Rood, Kara Rood, Dustin Rood, Callie Rood, Amanda Rood and Katlynn Rood, great-grandchildren Laura and Natalie Rood and Ethan and Davis Frankenberg.
Mid, as she was known to family and friends, graduated from St. Peters High School. She was married to her loving husband Delbert on June 5, 1948 and took great joy in raising her large family. Her hobbies were bowling and her 'Club Ladies'. Mid was a happy, optimistic person who had a sweet personality, a good sense of humor and a vibrant smile.
