Milton L. Brooks

Milton L. Brooks, O’Fallon, MO, Wednesday October 18, 2017, age 80. Loving husband of Sharon, together for 40 years; beloved son of the late Milton and Lenora Brooks; devoted father of Milton L. Jr., Deborah E. (Anthony), Gary "Allen" (Kimaada), Germain A. (Stephanie); cherished grandfather of Qadeer, Hanif, Kaila, Randy, Anthony, Patrice, Andrew, Tayler, Marcus, and Kyla; treasured great-grandfather of seven; dearest brother of Jerold (Donna), Judith (Larry), Jacqueline (Durwin), Keith (Margaret), Thomas, and Donna. He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Gilbert and Gary. Survived by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Milton was born in Bridgeport, CT, later relocated to CA in 1972. Milton was an avid collector of coins and model trains. He also enjoyed working in his yard, collecting different tools to work on projects around the home, and he had a great love for cars.  Milton was a dedicated and hardworking Blood Mobile Driver for the American Red Cross for over 35 years in Los Angeles, California.  Upon retirement he was voted by his peers to receive a Tiffany award, which is the highest award from The American Red Cross.  He was very proud of this achievement. Milton was a loyal member of Teamsters Local 63, Southern, CA. He was a member of the Church on the Rock, and loved volunteering with the Maintenance Ministry there. Milton was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
