In lieu of flowers, her family will accept donations to two charities very close to Misty's heart. The first is the Pulmonary Hypertension Association where Misty served for five years as a Support Group Leader. Donations can be made at www.phassociation.org and will be used to support research to find a cure for the illness. The second is the Second Wind Lung Transplant Association of St. Louis. Jackson, Misty Dawn, 34, died on Monday, June 8, 2009, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. After fighting Primary Pulmonary Hypertension for nearly six years, Misty went home to her Heavenly Father surrounded by family and friends. She graduated from high school in Alma, AR and went on to complete college degrees at Central Texas College and the University of Central Arkansas. Misty served as a legal secretary and paralegal for Kenneth Starr during the "White Water" investigations while she completed college. After obtaining a BSE in Mathematics, Misty taught at three high schools during her five years of service prior to her diagnosis with PPH. While teaching, she completed the National Board Certification in Math – a very high honor. A current resident of Lake St. Louis, MO, Misty is survived by her two children, Alyssa, 16 and Carter, 13, both of the home, a sister, Sommer Boswell of Sheridan, AR, four brothers, Shane Cluck of Bentonville, AR, Calynn Cluck of Ft. Smith, AR, Ferrell "Bubba" Cluck and Jarrod Cluck of Chester, AR. She is also survived by her mother and step-father, Debra and Charles Finney of Mulberry, AR and her father and step-mother, Ronnie and Terrie Cluck of Chester, AR. In addition, she is survived by her maternal grand-parents who raised her, J.B. and Barbara Carter of Alma, AR, and her paternal grand-parents, Glen and Phyllis Cluck of Mountainburg, AR. Misty is also survived by her best friend, Shari Altman, who was by her side each day of her long journey. The first of two funerals will be held in St. Charles, MO at the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at Ocker Funeral Home in Alma, AR at a later date from 6-9 p.m. The second service will be held at the River Fellowship in Alma, AR at 10:00am on Saturday, June 13, 2009 and will be immediately followed by interment in New Mulberry Cemetery in Mulberry, AR.
