Monroe Lee Bigham
August 23, 1931 — May 11, 2020
Monroe Lee Bigham, of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away Monday, May 11, 2020 at the age of 88. Loving husband of Vera Bigham; beloved son of the late Willie and Effie Bigham; devoted father of Donna (Terry) Marx and Don Bigham; cherished grandfather of Jennifer Rieker and Matt Bigham; treasured great-grandfather of Emily, Bella, and Lilly Rieker. Monroe is also preceded in death by his brothers, Charles, Troy, Guy Bigham, and sister, Sallie Gaines.
Monroe proudly served his country in the United States Navy serving in Korean War. He was the Plant Manager of Town House Furniture for over 40 years. Monroe was a member of O'Fallon Baptist Church. He loved to play golf and spending time taking care of his yard. Monroe was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Monroe's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
