Muriel “Mimi” Higgins

Higgins, Muriel "Mimi", of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the age of 94. Loving wife of the late Harold Higgins; beloved daughter of the late Carl and Helen Schwarze; devoted mother of Melanie Higgins, Patrice (Lloyd) Hines, Maryanne (Timothy) Mayeda; cherished grandmother of Shaun Ostmann, Eric Von Bastian, James Frey, and Nicholas and Patrick Mayeda; treasured great-grandmother of two. She is preceded in death by her three sisters Charlotte Sinni, Alice Hunter and Helen Burnikel.
Muriel was retired from McDonnel-Douglas. She was a member of St. PetersChurch and St. Ann Sodality and the Daughters of Isabella. She volunteered at SJHC for over 20 years and at FISH for over 13 years. Muriel really enjoyed the time she spent living in Germany and traveling Europe with her husband.
