Myrtle Borlinghaus

Myrtle Borlinghaus, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Friday, April 26, 2013 at the age of 93. Loving wife of the late Donald R. Borlinghaus; dear daughter of the late Robert and Edna Wanek; devoted mother of Craig (Yvonne) Borlinghaus, Mary Lynne (Dick) Porzel, and Scott R. (Diane) Borlinghaus; cherished grandmother of Tracy, Ann Celeste, Michele, Doug, Todd, Krista, and Kelly; and great-grandmother of Katie, Libby, Kayla, Dillon, Mia, Amelia, Brady and Blake who is on the way. Myrtle was a Teacher at Riverview Gardens School District for many years until she retired. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, playing card games such as Bridge, and loved boating and water. Nevertheless, her greatest passion in life was her family. In honor of Myrtle, memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Heartland Hospice, Lewy Body Dementia Association, or Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America.
