Nancy Jane Burkett (nee Kronsbein), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at the age of 65. Loving wife of Paul "Kelly" Burkett; beloved daughter of the late Harry and Jane (Mertz) Kronsbein; devoted mother of Brad (Jennifer) Burkett, Becky Burkett, and Brian (Lacey) Burkett; cherished grandmother of Bodhi Burkett, Kaylee DuMay, Kendall DuMay, and Kayden Stanek; dear sister of Lyn (the late John) Mock, and John (Kim) Kronsbein; treasured aunt of Sandy (David) Gantt, Andy (Amanda) Kronsbein, Kari (Clay) Kronsbein, Pete and Ashley Harrenstein; sister-in-law of Susan (Jeff) Harrenstein; great aunt, cousin, and beloved friend to many.
Nancy was extremely dedicated to her family, especially her grandkids. Her grandkids were the light of her life. We all have fond memories of her teaching them to, “Ride the waves, baby!”. She was a very bubbly person who never met a stranger and cared for everyone. The neighborhood kids would all come to visit Nancy when they wanted a treat. Food was a central part of every gathering or celebration, where she knew how to prepare for 50 when there may have only been 10 of us. She was generous, extremely compassionate, kind, and was always there to help anyone in need. Nancy was a woman of faith, and she was a parishioner at All Saints Catholic Church.
Nancy worked as an ICU nurse for 24 years. She continued her career dedicating herself in the field of memory care. Her love and compassion were evident in the love that she provided to her patients and their families. She was athletic and coached volleyball at All Saints Catholic Church.
Nancy had a bright smile and beautiful blue eyes. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
