Nancy Joan Vinyard

Nancy Joan Vinyard, (nee Lovins) of Troy, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the age of 83. Loving wife of the late Ursa B. "Lefty" Vinyard; beloved daughter of the late John D. and Alyce A. Lovins; devoted mother of Nancy (Jerry) Combs, Dawn (Chuck) Hull, Joseph (Jennifer) Vinyard, Cheri (James) McCloud, and the late Michael J. Vinyard and John K. Vinyard; cherished grandmother of Chad (Jennifer) Hull, Cara (Raegan) Baltzell, Tara Vinyard, Alice Combs, Kinsey Westmoreland, Christian (Lauren) Hull, Stormey McCloud, Skyla Edelen, Sara Vinyard, and the late Clint Hull and Faith Marie Hull; treasured great-grandmother of Brandon Vinyard, Kindra (Austin) Baltzell, Casey Baltzell, Jaylin Rathert, Callista Hull, Campbell Hull, Brody Maeser, Khloey Westmoreland, Wyatt Westmoreland, Matteo Edelen, Macie Edelen, Amelia Gierer and the late Rion James Sanders; great-granddaughter on the way, Hadley Grace, and great-great granddaughter on the way, Oaklyn Jayne.

Nancy loved watching the birds, deer, and other wildlife. She also loved reminiscing and telling stories about her childhood growing up in Dogtown, St. Louis, and enjoyed maintaining friendships both old and new, following their photos and activities on Facebook. Nancy treasured her time spent with her beloved children and grandchildren, and is fondly remembered for her caring, loving, and selfless nature. Nancy always thought about other people before herself, and was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorial contributions may be made in Nancy's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
