Rogers was born on March 7, 1943 in Jacksonville Illinois to George W. and Eleanor Martin. Her father preceded her in death. Mrs. Rogers retired as a guidance counselor for the Fort Zumwalt School District. She worked briefly as a sales associate at Famous Barr following her retirement. Mrs. Rogers was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority and served as the Grand Worthy Advisor for the International Order of Rainbow for Girls. She is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Rogers of St. Peters Missouri, her mother of Jacksonville Illinois, one son, Thomas M. Rogers of St. Peters Missouri, and two sisters, Jane Thayer (Dale) of Modesto California, and Doris Lockhart (George) of Jacksonville Illinois. She was a dear aunt, niece, cousin, and friend to many.
