Nancy Kay Malin (nee Abeling), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 16, 2022, at the age of 62. Beloved daughter of the late Harland and Jeanette Abeling; devoted mother of Nikki Rogers and Shelby (Kevin) McLain; life-long companion of Don DuBois; cherished grandmother of Gunner, Brooke, Evan, Owen, Avery, Dawson, and Isla; step-mother of Kristine (Ervin) Schottel, David (Stephanie) DuBois, and Ryan (Erica) DuBois; dear sister of Mary (Tom) Thoele, and Pat (Jack) Witte; Preceded in death by her brothers, Dan (Barb, surviving) Abeling and Alan (Rita, surviving) Abeling; loving aunt of numerous nieces and nephews, and beloved by many friends.
Nancy was a social butterfly. She had a very outgoing personality, never wanted to miss a party, and was the life of the party. Nancy’s laugh was contagious and brought joy to those near her. She loved her life. Nancy and Don dedicated their lives to each other and enjoyed 22 years together, living their best life. She worked at Midtowne Market and Lindenwood Pub having a great work ethic, always working hard. She loved being with her friends at The Pub and was the matriarch of the "Sorority Sisters." Nancy loved game nights with her grandson Gunner. She played softball and basketball. She was the first lady Pioneer to hold the record of over 1000 points scored. Nancy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
