Nancy Ruth Shinstock

Nancy Ruth Shinstock (nee Weeks), of Defiance, MO, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the age of 68. Loving wife of the late Robert “Bob” Shinstock; beloved daughter of the late Wilbert and Alma Weeks; devoted mother of Stacy (Adam Cross) Hinderliter; dear sister of Barbara Locke, Pam (Rick) Carlson, Mary (George) McKinnon, and Joe Weeks; cherished aunt of Jeremy (Saraha) Locke.

Nancy enjoyed many things in life. She enjoyed bowling and singing but, her main hobby was smoking cigarettes. Nancy like working in her garden. She had a green thumb and planted beautiful flowers. Nancy liked to line dance and she could really dance the night away. Nancy loved her family dearly and cooked wonderful meals for them.  She also loved to get out of the house and go shopping. Nancy married her best friend Bob, and they spend 10 great years together where they spent much of their time enjoying St. Louis Cardinals baseball games. Nancy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Nancy's name to Diabetes Foundation.
