Nancy E. Todtenhausen

Nancy E. Todtenhausen (nee Garrett), of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Heinz Todtenhausen; cherished daughter of the late Orville and Ellen Garrett; devoted mother of Karen (Dave) Rodgers, Teri Bammann, Chris (Kristen) Todtenhausen and the late Eric Todtenhausen; loving grandmother of Jared (Suzanne) Rodgers, Megan Bammann, Hanna Todtenhausen, Carter Todtenhausen and Caden Todtenhausen; treasured great-grandmother of Cyrus Groff and Shane Rodgers; dear sister of the late Orville Jr. (Shirley) Garrett and John (Geraldine) Garrett; sister-in-law of Arthur (Darlene) Todtenhausen; loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. 

Nancy was born in Sedalia, Missouri and moved to St. Louis, Missouri as a young girl. She grew up in Baden and graduated from Beaumont High School in 1954. She got her Bachelor’s Degree from Harris Teachers College and eventually added her Master’s degree from University of Missouri, St. Louis. She had a prestigious nearly 40-year career as a teacher and touched many lives. Her passions outside of teaching were her family, playing the piano and teaching. Nancy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
