Nancy Trimborn

Nancy Louise Trimborn (nee Wagner), of Ballwin, MO, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Norval Trimborn; cherished daughter of the late Melvin J. Wagner, Sr., and Lucille E. Wagner. Devoted mother of G. Scott (Casie R. Gaskin) Stoverink and Angela N. Carder; loving grandmother of Nichole B.F. Carder, Jackson V Carder, and Arlen N. Stoverink; dear sister of Richard M, (Carla) Wagner and the late Melvin J. (Leslie) Wagner Jr. 

Nancy, a former executive secretary at Crown Finance and later at Hussmann, took immense pride in her journey up the corporate ladder as a self-made woman. A passionate sports enthusiast, she adored Cardinals baseball, Blues hockey, Mizzou and Notre Dame football, and was an avid bowler, participating in multiple leagues. Despite her age, Nancy remained active, maintaining her lawn well into her 70s and indulging in outdoor activities like gardening and fishing, even boasting about the walleye she proudly had mounted. Every Christmas, she delighted in baking cookies to share with loved ones, alongside her renowned cherry crumb pie. A skilled seamstress, Nancy sewed clothes for herself and her children, while also enjoying knitting and crocheting. Her talents extended to music, having been a competitive pianist in school, and she cherished live performances, nurturing a childhood dream of becoming a Rockette in New York. Above all, Nancy cherished her grandchildren dearly, embodying boundless love and devotion in every aspect of her life. Nancy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
