Naomi “Kathy” Kathleen Minks
April 11, 1960 — December 28, 2021
Naomi Kathleen Minks Riedinger, of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, after a brief illness. She was born in 1960 to the late Vernon M. and Naomi P. Minks. Kathy married Timothy Riedinger in 2011. She is survived by her sister, Mary (The late John) Hawkins of Sun Lakes, AZ, her brother in-law, Mike Evering and many cousins, nieces and nephews, Ray Hummel, Scott (Jill) Hummel, Mark (Muriel) Minks. Kathy is preceded in death by her siblings, Eileen (The late Ray) Hummel, Rita Evering and Vernon Jr.
Kathy obtained her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Washington University in St. Louis in 1991. She loved animals, especially cats, and cared for her father Vernon in his later years. Kathy had a wide range of interests. She liked travelling to new places, enjoyed learning and was an avid reader. She loved indoor activities including playing cards and board games, knitting and needlepoint, as well as outdoor activities like gardening and fishing. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
