Naomi L. Patten

Naomi L. Patten of Cottleville, Missouri, passed away at home on January 23, 2022 surrounded by her family at the age of 82. She was born April 9, 1939 in Patton, Missouri to the late Elmer and Loretta (nee Crites) Cook. Naomi is lovingly remembered by her husband of 64 years, Robert “Bob” E. Patten, her son, Richard “Rick” (Pam) Patten; sister, Remona (the late Justin) Quinn; brothers, Roy (Sandra) Cook, Ken Cook and Robert Cook; grandsons, Steven (Haylee) Patten, Sean (Rachel) Patten and Seth Patten; great-grandson, Owen; sister-in-law, Debbie Cook; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Howard Cook. Naomi worked in banking and the financial fields for 36 years, holding numerous positions. She was very involved in numerous civic activities in St. Charles County, earning many awards and recognitions for her outstanding work. Naomi was always very active in her local church. She always enjoyed family gatherings. She was an accomplished vocal soloist and was a favorite to sing at weddings, church and social events. In recent years, Naomi loved taking walks with her dog, Vivi, who brought her much joy. Memorial contributions can be made in Naomi’s honor to St. Charles River Church Assembly of God.
