Nathaniel A. Tainter

Memorials may be made to Missouri Botanical Gardens. Tainter, Nathaniel A. "Nat", of Clarksville, Missouri, died on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the age of 87. Loving husband of Lillian L. Tainter; dear son of the late Dr. George W. and Margaret Tainter; cherished father of James Tainter, Nancy (James) Gardner, Margie (John) Hilburn, Jeanne (Mike Schulze) Melton, Gregory Tainter, and the late Robert Tainter; proud grandfather of ten and great-grandfather of ten; dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend to all who knew him. He is preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers. Nat owned Tainter Nursery in St. Peters, MO for over 30 years. He was also a longtime member of St. Peter Catholic Church.
