Nellie Catherine Covilli

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association or Duchesne High School Capital Campaign. Nellie Catherine Covilli, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Monday, December 7, 2009 at the age of 90. Dear wife of the late Arthur R. Covilli; loving daughter of the late Frank Schneider and the late Catherine Schneider (nee McLaughlin); loving mother of Pamela Catherine Covilli-Heimbecker (Dr. Peter P. Heimbecker), Betty Gayle Barro (Frank), Ronald Arthur Covilli (Deborah), John Robert Covilli (Marie), and Thomas Michael Covilli (Karlene); cherished grandmother of Gina Sweeney, Michael Barro, Linda Barro, Peter Heimbecker, Jr., Joseph Heimbecker, Carie Brown, Todd Covilli, Drew Covilli, and Brendon Covilli and great-grandmother of Brent Sweeney, Brad Sweeney, Taylor Brown, Logan Brown, Elaine Barro, and Elias Barro. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Joseph; and her brothers and sisters; Arthur "Shorty" Schneider, Margaret Hare, Nora Mittelbuscher, Albert "Abe" Schneider, Oliver Schneider, Rev. John Schneider, Owen Schneider, Betty Ann Wucher and Irene Vogler. She and her late husband, Arthur, along with Agnes Sasso and the late Charles Sasso, were the owners of Covilli Sasso Restaurant in St. Charles, MO. She was a member of Zonta, Committee Woman for St. Charles, and a member of St. Peters Parish. She loved to sing and dance. Nellie lived her last years at Mt. Carmel Senior Living in St. Charles. Her family expresses their gratitude and deep appreciation to the people at Mt. Carmel.
