Nikki McLean

McLean, Nikki (nee Van Dyke) of Omaha, Nebraska, died on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at the age of 64. Preceded in death by parents Nicholas Van Dyke, Jr. and Rosalie Grace Van Dyke, sister Patricia Breck and brother Michael Van Dyke (Linda). Loving mother of Amy (Robert) Schapp of Omaha, Nebraska; dear sister of Patricia Ann Miller, Richard Lee (Barbara) Van Dyke, Linda Kay Rutty, Terry Douglas Van Dyke, Barbara (Morris) Frommer, Nicholas (Ann) Van Dyke III and Kelly (Greg) Wallen; dear friend of Nita Anderson; dear aunt and friend of many others. She was formerly married to Frank McLean, who remained a faithful friend. Nikki worked as a Registered Nurse, and was passionate about helping people. She will be dearly missed by her canine friends Angel, Lizzy and Jack. The family is being served by the Arbor Society Omaha, Nebraska and Baue Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles, MO. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 16th, 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 13014 Olive Blvd. Creve Coeur, MO. Memorials to American Cancer Society or St. Charles County (MO) Humane Society.
