Nona LaVerne Wheelis

Wheelis, Nona LaVerne NEE:McQuay, of Warrenton, Missouri, died on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the age of 88. Loving wife of the late Donald Wheelis; beloved daughter of the late James R. and Nona McQuay; devoted mother of Dennis Wheelis, Larry (Debbie) Wheelis, and John (Jeri) Wheelis; cherished grandmother of Donald J. Wheelis, Matthew Wheelis, Christine Wheelis, and Kelli Wheelis; treasured great-grandmother of Alex Wheelis, Anthony Wheelis, and Benjamin Thompson; dear sister of Joyce Stephens, Beverly Stephens, and Naomi Fay Killian. She is preceded in death by one grandson, Brian Paul Wheelis; and brothers, James Frederick McQuay, Eugene Fenton McQuay, and Sammy Noel McQuay. Memorials may be made to American Heart Foundation.
