Norma J. Brizendine (nee Bell), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the age of 88. Loving wife of Jearl Brizendine; beloved daughter of the late Clarence Arthur and Mary Inez Bell; beloved mother of Sue (Brett) Krueger and Kathy (Daniel) Forster; cherished grandmother of Dan (Francesca) Forster, Jamie Ludwig, Brad Forster, Zack (Kelly Gebhardt) Fiordimondo, Angie Fiordimondo, and Michael Scotino; loving great-grandmother of 13, and dear aunt to her nieces and nephews. Norma is also preceded in death by her first husband, James R. Berhorst, brother, Bob Bell and sister, Doris (Cliff) Kerley.
Norma was a spitfire with a competitive edge. She was very athletic and won over 50 gold medals in the Senior Olympics in several different sports. Some of her favorite sports were bowling, golf, pool, and softball. In her free time, she also enjoyed a good night out square dancing. Norma loved her family and liked to play and laugh with her grandkids. She enjoyed shopping and took pride in making every Christmas special for her family. Norma was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
