Norma Rose Dillon (nee Hiatt), of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022, at the age of 83. Loving wife of 63 years to Paul F. Dillon; beloved daughter of the late Clarence M. and Nellie Violet Hiatt; devoted mother of Michael R. (Kim) Dillon and Penny D. Dillon; cherished grandmother of Amanda Dillon, Jennifer Dillon, Ashley (Kyle) Lacy, Sammi Jo (Louis) Daley, and Dillon Gray; treasured great grandmother of six, and great-great grandmother of one; dear sister to Clarence "Woody" (Sandy) Hiatt and the late Darlene (George) Pearson.
Norma loved to travel to Puerta Villarta in Mexico every year, fishing at Lake of the Ozarks, visiting Tunica, Mississippi on bus trips, as well as visiting Meskwaki, IA.
Family was most important to her, and she loved spending time with them. She enjoyed planning and attending family reunions and watching her grandchildren’s sports games. She admired and loved her husband.
Norma was a room mother and devoted much of her time to fundraising. In her free time, she enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals baseball, cross-stitching, and reading, as well as exercising. Norma loved listening to Elvis Presley, and dancing, especially at wedding receptions.
Norma was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Norma's name to Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.
