Norma Jean Doane (nee: Scharfinski) of Florissant, MO, Saturday, June 3, 2017, age 81.
Loving wife of the late Gearld Doane; beloved daughter of the late Henry and Pearl Scharfinski; devoted mother of Dan Doane, Sandy Doane, and Kim Doane; cherished grandmother of Shawn (Cami) Doane; treasured great-grandmother of Hanna Doane and Nola Doane; dear sister of Cookie Wiley. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Robert, Eleanor, Henrietta, Ethel, Louise, Pearl, Sonny, Vincent, Bill and Charlie.
Norma loved her children dearly they were the center of her life. She was a very loving and compassionate person, and cared for others. Everyone who met her loved her sense of humor and nicknames that she gave them.
In her younger days, Norma greatly enjoyed roller skating at the roller rink. This is the place she would go on to meet her future husband. Norma loved watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball. She enjoyed many things like watching the news on channel 5, Wheel of Fortune, word find books, shopping, and traveling to Branson, MO and California. Norma was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
