Norma J. Solomon (nee Bullock), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the age of 97. Loving wife for nearly 63 years to the late Bill Solomon; beloved daughter of the late William Essery and Bertha Bullock; devoted mother of William "Bill" Hugh (Sue) Solomon, Alice (James) Lohse and the late John Douglas (survived by wife Marty ) Solomon; treasured grandmother of Leigh (Jolie) Solomon, Alex Solomon, Adam Solomon, Jason Solomon, Jeff (Shana) Solomon, James M. (Jody) Lohse, Stephanie Allen and the late Bill Solomon; cherished Great and Great Great Grandmother to Many, Beloved Aunt and Friend.
Norma had the pleasure of being the president of the AARP Chapter in South County. She was a woman of strong faith and was a member of the Church of the Advent in Crestwood. Norma was an active church member and sang in the choir for many years.
In her earlier years, Norma was an LPN nurse. She played the violin for many years and enjoyed playing with orchestras. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Norma's name to Shriner's Children Hospital.
A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church on April 22, 2023, at 3:00PM.
