Norman Earl Goenne

Memorials may be made to American Heart Association - St. Charles Chapter or the American Lung Association. Goenne, Norman Earl, 83, died September 21, 2008 at Mt. Carmel Senior Living in St. Charles, Mo. He was born August 13, 1925 in Davenport, Ia. to the late Dr. William and Norma (Otto)Goenne. Mr. Goenne was retired from the State of Illinois Employment Office. He is survived by two daughters, Sarah Goenne of Chicago and Martha (Scott) Bante of St. Peters, one son John F., of Normal, Il. and two grandchildren, Graham Goenne and Max Bante. He was preceded in death by his wife Doris, parents, and two brothers, William and Richard Goenne. Mr. Goenne was a WWII Veteran and served as a Marine on the USS Denver CL58 from 1943 to 1945.
