Norman Shelton

February 3, 1934 — June 26, 2014

Shelton, Norman, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the age of 80. Loving husband of Dorothy Shelton (nee: Faeth); beloved son of the late William and Dorothea Shelton; devoted father of Dan (Kathy) Shelton, Denise (Tim) Ferber, Dale (Dayna) Shelton, and Dianna (Phil) Maulhardt; cherished grandfather of Chad (Elise) Shelton, Christopher (Ashley) Shelton, Carl (Jessica) Shelton, Cary Shelton, Ashley Ferber, Alanna Ferber, Ian (Katie) Shelton, and Ariana Shelton; treasured great-grandfather of Brian and James Shelton, Dawson Caldwell, and one on the way; dear brother of Raymond and Bill Shelton. He is preceded in death by his sister Shirley Knight.
Norman was employed at McDonnell Douglas for over 35 years, retiring as a Numerical Control Machine Parts Programmer. He was very active at Immanuel Lutheran Church as an usher, as a member of the Men's Club, Merry Pairs, Board of Properties, and enjoyed playing dartball. Norman was also a member of the Classic Thunderbird Club of St. Louis and was very proud of his 1955 T-Bird. He lived in St. Charles his entire life and enjoyed the changes brought to St. Charles.
Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran School.
