Norval James “Mitch” Mitchell

Mitchell, Norval James "Mitch", of Saint Peters, MO, died on Thursday December 25, 2014, at the age of 62. Loving husband of 42 years to Linda Kay Mitchell (nee: Kiefer); beloved son of the late Norval Charles and Annabelle J. Mitchell; devoted father of Jeremy (Stacey) Mitchell, Aaron Mitchell, and Cory (Madeline) Mitchell; cherished grandfather of Jake and Sam Mitchell; dear brother of Donald (Pam) Mitchell and Martha Mitchell.
Mitch proudly served his country on the USS Waccamaw A109 in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, eventually serving as the event coordinator for their yearly reunions. Mitch loved Domestic and International traveling with his family. He was very involved in Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church in Spanish Lake for 18 years. Mitch coached his three sons in Basketball and Baseball throughout their childhood in Our Lady of Loretto, Rec Plex and All Saints leagues.
