Norvell Eckhoff

Norvell Eckhoff, of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at the age of 90. Husband of Jacqueline Eckhoff (nee Kasper); son of the late Julius and Anna Eckhoff (nee Unnerstall); brother of Virginia Bira (Steve); father of Danny Eckhoff (Denise), Susan Reidel (Bob), and Tammy Steffen (Ronnie), grandfather of Brandie (Jay), Rhonda (John), Rachel (Andy), Candice, Tammy (Rain), Robyn (Matt), and Sarah (Jim); and great-grandfather of Cody, Brooke, Tyler, Savannah, Drew, Devin, Dylan, Cheyenne, Gavin, Morgan, Avery, Jozie, Jase, Karsen, Mia, Lincoln, Maci, Maggie; and brother in-law to Sharon Barton.

He is preceded in death by his siblings Loraine Dezern (Ed) and Laverne O’Neill (Arthur), and his father and mother in law Ed and Hazel Kasper.

Norvell was the perfect family man. He dedicated his life to his wife, kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. Every year, the day after Thanksgiving, the family would see Santa Claus and spend the following weeks preparing for Christmas. He was a helpful handyman and enjoyed woodworking and mowing the lawn. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
